Individual Therapy

Therapy is a safe space where we will listen to your story without judgement, help you work through stress and challenges, and develop healthy coping strategies together based on your strengths. Our goal is to help relieve stress, improve wellbeing, and reach goals that are meaningful to you.

Grief Counselling

There is no “getting over” the loss of someone or something that you care about. Grief is not a linear twelve-step process, where you feel each “stage” (anger, sadness, bargaining, etc.) and then “move on.” However, grief is something you CAN get through. Grief counselling is an opportunity to share your story of grief and loss, develop healthy coping strategies, and work towards healing.

Caregiver Counselling

Are you providing care to a loved one and starting to notice you’re feeling more tired, irritable, anxious, isolated, overwhelmed, or hopeless? These are all signs that you may be starting to experience caregiver burnout. In caregiver counselling, we work together towards understanding this role, celebrating the wins, healing the hurts, and developing healthy coping strategies. Caregiver counselling is a space dedicated to you to support you as you dedicate so much to others.

Trauma Therapy

By working together to understand what you’ve been through and how it’s impacting you, we create a plan for change together that involves new tools and skills for coping, along with processing the emotions associated with your traumatic memories. Events like childhood trauma, car accidents, domestic violence and abuse, loss of a loved one, natural disasters, social injustice, and poverty are all examples of trauma.

Relationship Recovery

    Relationship & Couples Counselling

    Relationship counselling is an opportunity to explore what is and isn’t working in your relationship. It is a safe, neutral space for difficult conversations. The goal of relationship counselling is for all parties to heal, evolve, and re-connect.

    This can be a great opportunity for partners of all dynamics to rebuild trust, foster intimacy and connection, develop healthy communication strategies, and relight that missing spark!

    If sex is a particular challenge in your relationship, sex therapy can also be incorporated into your sessions.

    Sex Therapy

    Are you satisfied with your sex life? Do you struggle with intimacy or discomfort during sex? Does sex feel like something you have lost control with?

    Sex therapy is a space for all of these concerns and more. The goal of sex therapy is to gain a better understanding of sex, work through potential challenges or barriers, and re-connect with this important part of yourself in order to have a satisfying, enjoyable sex life. You don’t need to currently be in a relationship to benefit!

    Brianna provides a sex-positive, kink-positive, and affirming space for individuals, relationships of all types, 2SLGBTTIQQA+, and people with disabilities to improve sexual health and strengthen intimacy.

Online Therapy and Counselling

Our online therapy services are not the same as some of the recent services you might’ve seen online or experienced through funded calls. All online therapy appointments are 50-minutes, secure and confidential, and use methods backed by research. Resources (handouts, reading materials, etc) may be incorporated, but they are provided as additional support and do not replace direct session time with your therapist. We use a secure online telehealth platform called Jane that meets legislation requirements to protect your privacy.
